The (P)ride Leiden event will take place on Sunday, August 31st.
We are also part of the official Leiden Pride program. The Pride itself is on September 6th, but there will be a week of activities leading up to it, culminating in the (P)ride Leiden event.
People attending Pride can register with the Pride organization to ride with one of us. This is part of connecting people and promoting our club. You can find the Leiden Pride programme here (sorry, only in Dutch). The costs listed in their Information and Costs Page are for participants who do not register through GCCC.
We will be welcomed in Leiden from 12:00 PM with coffee/tea and pastries. We plan to depart at 1:00 PM and return between 3:30 and 4:00 PM. The route will lead us through the dune and bulb-growing region.
Start and finish
The starting and ending point is: Lammermarkt, Leiden.
And after the ride?
After the ride, there’s time to chat and at the end of the day there’s a three-course barbecue dinner for those who wish so.
This ride is also a great opportunity to promote your GCCC. Therefore, we ask that you indicate when registering whether you have one or more seats available in your car. You will then be assigned your co-driver(s) who will ride with you when we depart.
Participation fee is € 12 per person for members and € 15 per person for guests. The dinner price is € 41.50 per person (including three drinks: beer, soft drinks, or wine).
Are dogs allowed?
Our four-legged friends are welcome, provided they are well-behaved and kept on a leash.
This ride is registered with the events regulations.
Registration is open until Sunday, August 24th, via the registration page.
Disclaimer
The GCCC excludes all liability for damages of any kind. Photos and videos will be taken during the ride. If you do not wish this to happen, you are responsible for this yourself by kindly asking the photographer or videographer not to film you or your car (license plate). Photos and videos are generally shared on the personal Facebook and Instagram pages of individual participants and on the GCCC Facebook page.
