WOLVES RIDE

Who’s afraid of the big bad wolf?

We kick off the season on Saturday afternoon, March 28th. We’ll gather at Nijkerk, where we’ll bravely set off on a Veluwe tour. We’ll pass the now-historic spot where the wolf was first spotted in recent years, farms frequented by the wolf, and forests where you might catch a glimpse. After returning to the starting point, we’ll share our experiences over drinks, followed by dinner together at large round tables.

And if you’re thinking, “But I don’t have any interest in that animal at all”… then sign up for a relaxing afternoon of touring on wide and narrow paths, through polders, forests, and heathland on the Veluwe. The starting point is in Nijkerk, where we’ll be welcome from 1:00 PM.

Unfortunately, parking isn’t available in front of the building; the best option is at the town hall (Oostkadijk) or along the quay along the canal (Westkadijk). From there, it’s a few minutes’ walk to the starting point. A map showing the route from these parking spots can be found in the announcement email.
