ER Classics Ride: the nostalgic feeling of power and tranquility!

On Saturday, November 29th, you’ll turn on the ignition key of your classic car. The engine will cough briefly and then come to life with a robust, deep rumble. A sound that gives you such comfort and feeling of power, that you can drive along melancholy country roads this Saturday (!). The highlight is a special visit to ER Classics in Waalwijk, a paradise for every vintage and modern classic car enthusiast!

What makes a visit to ER Classics special?

As soon as you step through the door, you’ll be immersed in a world of gleaming chrome and polished paint. Here’s what makes it all so special:

Showroom: Expect an impressive collection of more than 300 classic cars under one roof. From iconic English sports cars like MGBs and Jaguars to elegant Italian beauties and solid German classics. Each car is perfectly displayed.

The stories: You can admire the cars up close and hear stories about their restoration and provenance. It’s a chance to see what cars are currently for sale, from rare masterpieces to more accessible enthusiasts.

Workshop: If you ask on-site, you can take a look inside the specialized workshop. You’ll see the passion and craftsmanship with which the classics are maintained, restored, and prepared for the road. You’ll feel the artisanal love for classic mechanics.

It’s therefore the perfect opportunity to chat with your GCCC friends about your shared passion while enjoying a hot cup of coffee or tea and a Brabant sausage roll (provided by ER Classics), surrounded by stunning classics. This is where the nostalgia of driving and the love of technology converge!

What else can you expect?

After the visit to ER Classics, we’ll continue our autumn drive. The low November sun will cast long shadows and a soft, golden glow on the wet asphalt. Not a problem at all, because you’ll be snug and cozy in your classic car, alone or with your partner or other companion. Through the slightly misted windows, you see the beautiful Brabant fields slowly entering their winter dormancy. You hear the wind whistle against the bodywork and the rhythmic hum of the tires on the road.

The heater in your car might be a bit lukewarm, but the feeling of the road is more direct, more genuine. You are at one with your classic car and the passing landscape. Your car almost forces you to slow down, so you don’t miss a thing. You see old farmhouses, plumes of smoke from chimneys, and feel the nostalgia of times gone by, as if you’re driving through an old movie. You don’t want to miss this cozy experience, do you?
