We are pleased to announce that Aldrin van Zanten has been appointed an honorary member of the Gay Classic Car Club.
As chairman, it is a great honor for me to pronounce this appointment. In the 34 years that our club has existed, this title has been awarded only once before. This underscores how special Aldrin’s contribution is — and how exceptional his significance is to our club and community.
For years, Aldrin has dedicated himself heart and soul to our national rallies, where his enthusiasm and commitment were always palpable.
But his greatest merit undoubtedly lies in the international rallies, where he has been a driving force behind the growth, visibility, and connection of our club with our sister clubs and other participants from many countries.
Thanks to his efforts, his warm personality, and his tireless dedication, Aldrin has become the face of our international events — a reputation that has rightfully earned him the title of Mr. Eurotour. With this appointment, we express our deep appreciation for everything he has meant — and still means — to our club.
