New date for Annual General Meeting & membership consultation
We hope you are doing well.
Unfortunately, we still have to deal with COVID and the COVID measures now. As a result, there was no New Year’s Reception. Organising a new event will depend on relaxation of the measures.
The AGM was to be held on March 21st this year. Because we prefer to hold an “analog” AGM, where we can speak to each other personally, the board has decided to postpone the date of the AGM.
The new date scheduled for the AGM will be June 27th, taking into account Article 15, paragraph 1 “The financial year of the association isn the same as the calendar year. At least one general meeting is held annually, within six months after the end of the financial year,” assuming that by then the measures have been relaxed. If this turns out not to be the case, we’ll have to resort to holding the AGM digitally after all.
To get the year going, however, you can find a member consultation page after logging in to the site. In addition to making it easier to get in touch with your fellow members, viewing old GCCC magazines and finding a number of route descriptions, this is another reason to create a member’s account.
If you haven’t got an account yet, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to apply for one.
The budget can be consulted from March 19th to April 4th. Any questions can be asked by email until Match 26th. The questions and answers to these questions will be posted on the protected part of the site on March 31st at the relevant page the question is about. Voting is possible from the publication of the magazine up to and including April 10th.
We hope you will understand this different course of events and that we can soon meet again on location.
In the meantime, stay healthy and look after yourselves and others.
See you soon!
The executive board of the GCCC,
Fred, Jerry, Marchel, Rob and Warner
